Painting has been my life, from the time I was a student in Elementary school. One day I decided to become a
painter, an artist. As I have spent many years, to date, I believe that I have the wings to fly on the wide blue
skies, my vision is full of beauty of the natural miracles, and I have seen the lands, mountains, rocks, waterfalls,
and forest. I love to paint the images between the water and clouds. I love to paint the colored waves of the
rivers and waterfalls.
After coming to the United States, My arts are inosculate with eastern and western arts, with artistic eyes, heart,
and desired discovery. I have browsed all over the country; traveled extensively to the mountains and rivers,
forest and national parks, made a journey of north and south. I cast about for the treasures of natural beauty.
The Wind bellows and waters rise, the Mother Nature’s breathe, the wildlife lives. I escape from modern city to
the wild forest, head to the blue mountains, green rivers, listen to the birds twittering, breath the freshness of
air, I feel my whole body together, my mind refreshed, my inners soul is clean and ready to paint the melodic
beauty of mother nature.
Recently, my painting focus has been of the waterfalls, because the waterfalls are always charming me, the full
covered by holes and crannies of rocks, the green waters silently flow, then when it meets the rock, suddenly it
blusters from high cliffs, it roars out down to the deep end of granite rocks, drops white fog, spumes, then
rainbows rise, oh what a beautiful scene, this view from the earth.
My painting is about capturing the moment of the spectacular image from my heart, from my soul. I am happy to
create the colors, the waves to paint as I have seen. I am fortunate that I can see from my inner vision the
beauty of mother nature, I hope that my waterfall painting not only provide the scenic image, but also can wash
out the dust from your heart and bring the peaceful mind back.
An Oriental proverb says, it takes 10 years to sharpen a sword good. That means taking serious efforts study
things better and better for many years. I try to make my painting more as life accrues. Painting is a part of my
life, thanks to God; I am able to paint what I see and what I feel. My mission is to capture the monument of the
spectacular image from the heart and the soul.
